Every image generated by Google Gemini (via Imagen 3) includes a small sparkle / star logo watermark in the bottom-right corner — typically a 48×48 or 96×96 pixel icon depending on the image resolution.
This watermark is applied using alpha blending — the sparkle logo pixels are blended with the underlying image pixels using a known transparency value. Because the blending formula is mathematically reversible, we can apply reverse alpha-blending to recover the original pixel values underneath the watermark.
Our removal engine loads the original Gemini sparkle PNG (which is publicly available), extracts its alpha channel to build a precision alpha map, then mathematically inverts the blending formula to restore every affected pixel to its original color.
